Holiday Pages

Holiday Scrapbook Pages
Step 1: Click on the selected files. They will open as Microsoft® Word documents.
Step 2: Add your customised text in the heading area by highlighting the area marked “Type Your Heading Here.” Note that once the text is highlighted, you can type your personalised message in the font style, size and colour of your choice. For simplicity, you can use the style, size and colour provided.
Step 3: Insert* your photos where indicated. If you have a panoramic photo, crop the right half out on the left page, and the left half out on the right page, so when the scrapbook pages are laid side by side, the photo becomes one. If your photos are standard size, you may place separate photos on the left and right pages. To add interest, on the right page, crop your photos so they are square and place them side by side in the photo box.
Step 4: Now click on the journaling area, as marked with “Type your journaling here.” As with the header, you can also change the font style, size and colour of the text you would like to add into the journaling section.
On the brass plate, type in your date and year, or whatever text you would like to accent this page with.
Step 5: Your personalising is complete! Print your pages. Remember to choose the correct paper size and paper type setting in your printer driver.
Step 6: Embellish your pages if desired.
Note: For maximum archivability, we recommend the use of Epson Stylus Photo R1800 or R2400 with Premium Glossy Photo Paper or Archival Matte Paper. Printed with Epson inks and stored in an album, your pages will last up to 200 years so that all of your efforts can be appreciated for generations to come.

This will place your photo in front of any text or graphic in your layout. Use the “corner grippers” to resize the graphic, and click and drag the graphic to the appropriate spot in your layout. (If the photo disappears behind other objects and you are unable to select it, open a new Word document, place your photo, following the above instructions, and then copy and paste the photo into your layout).
